Pumpkin Time

Painting our pumpkin.

Cleaning out the pumpkin.

Being sweet to the pumpkin...giving Jack a hug.

Now Andy's being silly with Jack and sitting on him! Ouch!

Our toasted pumpkin seeds!

Showing me just how yummy the seeds were!

This year, Andy and I decided to paint our pumpkin, Jack before we carved him up! Andy absolutely loves to paint so getting to paint a big orange pumpkin was oh so much fun! Once the paint dried, we scooped and cleaned out our pumpkin. Daddy was real impressed with Mommy's carving skills when he came home from work and saw our finished product. HA!!! This year, we also toasted some of the pumpkin seeds. Andy was so disappointed when he ate the last one and realized there were no more. He really enjoyed hearing himself "crunch crunch" as he ate the seeds. Andy and Mommy had a great time together!

Pumpkin Patch

Playing in the old truck.

Ok...so I don't think Andy wanted to see how tall he had grown from last year. He was upset because we had just left playing in the corn kernels.

Andy LOVED playing in the corn kernels...he was very disappointed when we had to leave.

Playing in the cotton.

Andy and Daddy!

Two weekends ago, we headed to the Pumpkin Patch. What a great time...well we did once our little guy woke up. Andy had fallen asleep on the way to the pumpkin patch (because we kind of got lost! HA!). It took Andy a little while to "wake up" but once he did, he had a good time. He hated to leave. His favorite things were playing in the cotton, corn kernels, and in this old red truck. We thought he'd love going for a pony ride but he just watched as they rode by...maybe next year!

My Little Ham

Here are some recent pictures I took of Andy...being a silly willy!

Crazy boy found Mamma's big ole tennis shoes and slipped them on. He got so tickled at himself wearing Mommy's shoes!
Daddy and Andy playing a little game of peek-a-boo before bedtime. This has become Andy's all time favorite game with his daddy!

Getting ready to watch the LSU vs. Florida game with some friends. GEAUX Tigers!

Ok so these two pictures top the cake...my two boys are so much alike. They are eating cheese dip and watching Swamp People together...yes they are!!!

Big News for the Gothreax's!!!

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!! Billy and I are excited to announce that there's going to be another little Gothreaux running around our house! I'm thrilled to say that I'm 11 weeks along and Andy's going to be a big brother April 12 (or around that time!)!!!! These three pictures didn't quite come out like I had planned or hoped...guess that's what you can expect when you're dealing with a 22 month year old. HA!!!

Andy gets to share the news!

Jaylin's Puppy Pawty!

Love love love these pictures of my two guys having an in depth conversation. LOVE IT!

Yes, can you believe that's my little man eating a cupcake...Funfetti cupcakes...must remember that for his birthday!

This is what we saw the most...Jaylin running to keep up with Andy. She usually was yelling his name, I guess hoping he would stop and wait for her!

There he is the cook and his helper!
There's the birthday girl!

Bone cupcake stand that Micah built!

Andy and Poppy played at the park while Daddy sat in the car listening to the LSU game...

Once we got home...Andy helped Daddy put together his outdoor sink.

Labor Day weekend, we headed to Duncan, OK for Jaylin's (my niece) 2nd birthday party! Before we made it to Duncan, we stayed the night in Little Rock and was able to catch up with some of our Arkansas friends! It was great to see Kaye and Joe...they couldn't get over how much Andy had changed and grown. It's been almost a year since we've moved to Columbus...how time flies by!

Once we arrived in Duncan, Andy was nonstop...I would be too after an 11 hour car ride! HA!!! He had such a great time playing with Jaylin, Zander, and Ivy...and all the other kiddos that came around. The Puppy Pawty was a great hit. The big kids got to slip and slide, while the little kiddos ran like crazy. The party was at a park, so there was plenty of room to run and lots for the children to enjoy! We had a great visit...just wished we all lived a little bit closer!

Birthday Weekend in Eunice

EVERYONE is playing and having a great time!!! Yay for family fun!

Playing in MawMaw and PawPaw's backyard. (Picking flowers and playing football with the big kids!)

Helping Daddy blow out his birthday candles. Mrs. Janet's homemade chocolate cake was absolutely delicious!

This past weekend, we headed down to Eunice. We had a great visit, which consisted of us being outside playing most of the time. We were able to enjoy family, great fellowship, and lots of yummy food! We were also able to celebrate both Billy and Aaron's birthday while we were all together. Thank you Lord for another wonderful year you've blessed these two great guys with and may this upcoming year be a blessing to them both as well as those in their lives!
