Tis the Season!

Merry Christmas Y'all! We hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful time of year and remembering the real reason we're celebrating! The three of us have had a great December. Andy is growing too fast and keeps us super busy! He still loves to read. You'll see in a few pictures Andy's sitting in his "reading" chair in his room. He's still not to sure how much he likes his chair! He loves to help with whatever is going on...helping me unload the dishwasher! Such a big boy! There are several pictures of Andy by our Christmas tree. He's doing great with it and doesn't really bother the tree to much...he only seems to play with a few ornaments(ones that are fine to play with). Hope everyone enjoys their families and Christmas! I'll post more pictures soon!

Happy 1st Birthday, Andy!

Andy's barn cake and animal cupcakes!

Pug distracting the little ones while we set up for the party!

The proud grandparents with the Birthday Boy!
Well time has gone by WAY to fast and now our little guy is already one year old. I can't believe it. He had a wonderful first birthday at the BCM, the day LSU played Arkansas! Whew! What a game...sure glad we pulled that one out! Andy had lots of his little friends and family come to celebrate with him on his special day!!!! The little ones played by doing Old MacDonald puzzles, making sticker books, and reading farm books. Oh what fun they had!!! We had some yummy gumbo thanks to Mrs. Janet and Uncle Moon, along with some side ideas provided by Mom and Granny. Thanks everyone!!! I think Andy had a blast and it was so wonderful seeing everyone!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

The three of us headed to Eunice where we spent a wonderful Thanksgiving together. We ate some yummy food and got to visit with Maw Maw, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Gene, and cousin Mark. We had a wonderful time together and Andy loved playing outside! He wanted to go outside as often as possible!

New Hobbies!

Andy loved watching Dad peel the satsumas, but wouldn't take a bite for anything!

While we were in Luling, Andy picked up some new hobbies. Poppy taught Andy how to play chess. Poor little chess pieces...they were getting thrown all over the place! Poppy sure had fun bending over and picking them up! HA!!! Then Mimi taught Andy how to play the piano! That was fun...but quite loud! He hated to get down off the bench when WE were finished hearing him play! Our little guy...what will be next?

Fun with the GP's.

While Billy was away working in Bloomington, Illinois, Andy and I did some visiting. We went to Eunice and hung out with Maw Maw and Paw Paw. Boy did Andy have fun. Andy got to visit with both Maw Maw and Paw Paw at work. He also helped Maw Maw unload the dishwasher and helped Paw Paw pick satsumas. Andy had a lot of fun playing with them too. He also got to visit his GG and Great Maw Maw. He had fun exploring at their homes. Andy even got to play with his cousin Noah while he was at GG's.

Fall Fun!

The Gothreaux's have been busy these past few weeks...wait what am I saying-that seems to be the story of our life! HA!!! Yes, we do love to go go go! We spent Halloween in Luling with Lindsey and her little girl McKinney! Oh did Andy love watching all the big kids trick-or-treat. He was my little lion who didn't like to wear his hat. The last pictures are of Andy playing in the yard. He loved picking up the leaves, checking out all the pretty flowers, and watching our neighbor's cat! Andy got so tickled at the cat that he just laughed and talked to him everytime the cat came near him! Too funny!

Our New Home

Look what Andy can do...he can climb the stairs all the way to the top!

He enjoyed playing in Mommy's new tub.

Ok so this isn't the greatest pic...it's one we took before our families left the first weekend we were here.

This was the great group of people Billy worked with in Monticello.

This is when Andy and I got to tell Billy the good news that he got the job as the new AFE in Columbus, MS.

The three of us are finally getting settled in our new home in Columbus, MS. It sure was sad saying good-bye to our friends in Monticello. We have lots of great memories there and of course it will always be special because that's where Andy's first home was! Here in Columbus things are going well. Billy's loving his job and really enjoys the people he's getting to work with. We have begun visiting churches and are praying to meet good friends there. Columbus is going to be a wonderful place to live and is now the Gothreaux's new home.

First LSU Game

Listening to the drum line! He couldn't keep his eyes off them!

LSU vs. Vandi was Andy's first taste of what an LSU game is like. He had a great day on campus with Mimi, Poppy, Maw Maw, Paw Paw, and Uncle Moon. Plus we was able to meet lots of people throughout the day. He was able to listen to the drum line warm-up, meet some cheerleaders, and see Mike the Tiger! By the end of the day, Andy was tuckered out. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Active Little Man

Don't you just love the mismatch pj's?

Here's Mimi and Poppy taking a picture for the last time at our house in Monticello.

Here's Andy's new wagon that Daddy and Poppy put together.
Andy's first taste of a cookie...think he likes it!!!

My little smiling boy!!!

Daddy giving Andy a ride on his luggage! I just love that laugh!

Well it seems like a while since I've posted anything. But here are some pics around the house of Andy. He's growing more and more everyday and getting into more and more stuff around the house. I just found him in the bathroom cabinet unrolling a roll of toilet paper! Too funny!
